With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Francis Wendling (Marion, Iowa), who passed away on March 3, 2022 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lyle Birt and Cecilia Nason. He is survived by: his former wives, Kathleen Maley and Vivian Hartman; his sons, Christopher Wendling of Lisbon, Brian Wendling (Sarah) of Cedar Rapids and Jacob Wendling of Cedar Rapids; his grandchildren, Forrest, Chelsea, Hannah, Keeli, Jace, Emma and Cade; and his siblings, Lila, David, Lyle, Linda and Lani. He is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in John's memory may be made to the family to be designated later.
