He was predeceased by: his daughter Elizabeth Sue; and his siblings, Clifton, Rusty, David, Charlene and Glenda.
He is survived by: his wife Karen; his children, Julie Tutt (Nick), Tracey Herman and Jonathan Inge; his grandchildren, Stephanie Naylor (David Price), Sarah Buyle (Anthony), Stephen Buyle, Shane Herman (Kristin), Tanya Herman, Chase Cornwall (Matt), Nichole Herman and Savanah Herman; and his sisters, June Wilcox (Willie) and Louise Jones. He is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild.
