She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Gaffey and Laura Gaffey (Fahnholz); and her siblings, Charles Gaffey and Mary Kathryn Roth. She is survived by: her husband Robert Sueppel of Marion, Iowa; her children, Laurie Powrie (Kevin) of Shellsburg, Jim Sueppel (Dawn) of Marion, Mary Beth Sueppel Hewitt of Bellevue and Joy Hedding (Brent) of Hudson, Wisconsin; her siblings, Gerry Gaffey (Marilyn) of Iowa City, Harold Gaffey (Cindi) of Coralville, Ed Gaffey (Karen) of Albuquerque and Theresa Stevens (Jerry) of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; and her uncle John Gaffey (Helen) of Williamsburg, Iowa. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members and countless good friends.
