She was predeceased by: her parents, Lumir Holets and Edith Holets (Baird); her sister Judy Keller; her brothers-in-law, Max Keller and Charles Linn; and her sibling's children, Penny Linn-Weir, Mark Keller and James Stolte.

She is survived by: her husband Royal Black; her son Shaun Black (Laurie) of Manlius; her grandsons, Tyler and Andrew Black; and her siblings, Rich Baird (Angie), Jan Linn, Robert Holets (Glenda), Karen Tenley (John), Pat Moeller (Wally), Cheryl Stolte (Leroy), Frank Holets (Deanna), Lary Holets (Haeng Sun) and Rita Wolfe (Dean).

In lieu of flowers, memorials in Linda's memory may be directed to the Hall-Perrine Cancer Center or Mercy Hospice of Cedar Rapids.
