It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Luella Barnes of Marion, Iowa, born in Homestead, Iowa, who passed away on October 5, 2020, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her children, Suzanne Hoyum (Edward) of Cedar Rapids, Barbara Saeugling of Marion and Douglas (Cheryl) of Redding, California; her sisters, Ida Strunk of Williamsburg and Viola Lemon of Rock Island, Illinois.; her parents, Otto Trimpe and Rosina Trimpe; and her husband Harold Barnes Jr.. She was also cherished by 8 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
As mandated by proclamation, social distancing must be practiced which requires a limited number of people to be allowed into the visitation at one time.
Memorial donations may be given to Trinity Lutheran Church.
