She was predeceased by: her parents, Luigi Deho and Giuliana Deho (Pescanti); her husband Norman F. Peterson; her sister Nuccia; and her brother-in-law Doriano Billet.
She is survived by: her daughters, Giuliana Peterson of Moss Beach, Patrizia "Patsy" Bettenga (Paul) of Hiawatha and Deborah Gire (Doug) of Marion; her grandchildren, Desiree Bowers (Rusty), Westley Carney (Megan), Samuel Gire (Piper), Shawna Guy (Aaron) and Hannah Gire; and her adoptive daughter Carrie Sarchett of Marion. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
