It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marlene Brooks of Marion, Iowa, born in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, who passed away on December 11, 2020, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Mike Palumbo and Marcella Palumbo (Roushar); and her niece Sara Palumbo. She is survived by: her son Brian Porter; her siblings, Mike Palumbo (Jennie), Doug Palumbo (Denise), Larry Palumbo, David Palumbo, Carol Lackey (Mike) and Mary Reddin (Tom); and her close friend Bill Beckman. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and great-nieces.
Memorials in Marcene's memory may be directed to St. Ludmila Catholic Church in Cedar Rapids.
