Marlys Ann Brown Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marlys Ann Brown (Marion, Iowa), born in Independence, Iowa, who passed away on April 30, 2020, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Brock and Leona Marie Brock (Hepker). She is survived by: her husband Bill Brown of Marion; her children, Dave Brown (Janet) of Marion, Julie Knockle (Bret) of Cedar Rapids and Marianne Casas of Bettendorf, Iowa; and her grandchildren, Ryan Brown (Angie), Wes Brown (Cassie), Allison Knockle, Karlee Knockle, A. J. Casas, Miraya Casas and Marisa Casas. She is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
Due to state and federal guidance on gatherings due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the family will not be having a memorial service at this time.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Marlys' memory may be directed to Iowa National Heritage Foundation.
