She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Alice Shuler Howell and Russell Howell; her children, Shawn Weirather (Jen) of Elburn, Illinois, Cathy Weirather of Union, Washington, Steve Weirather (Elaine) of Newhall, Iowa, Kenny Weirather (Leslie) of Lisbon, Iowa and Debbie Sage of Tiffin, Iowa; her grandchildren, Philip, Joe, Cody, Kristi, John, Michelle, Jamie, Maggie and Ethan; her siblings, Edith Wooldridge of Burlington, Iowa and Delbert Howell of Sun River, Oregon.; her husband Bill Weirather (William); her siblings, Ray, Roy, Lee, Donal, Kenny, Charlie, Bobby, Lola and Helen; and her son-in-law Brent Sage. She was also cherished by great-grandchildren.
