With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Martin Appleton of Marion, Iowa, born in Waterloo, Iowa, who passed away on April 27, 2021 at the age of 68. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Martin Appleton and Eleanor Appleton (Fleischer); and his brothers, Allen and Kent. He is survived by: his wife Janet Appleton of Marion, IA; his stepson Forrest Berns; his stepgrandsons, Clayton Cowden and Kaleb Berns; his siblings, Penny Dodd (Butch) of LaPorte City, IA, Jerry Appleton (Jan) of Fairfax, IA, Deb Heffernan (Tom) of Jesup, IA and Scott Appleton (Lisa) of LaPorte City, IA; his sister-in-law Deb Weber of Dunkerton, IA; and his pets, Ted E Bear and Gizmo.
