With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Delores Schoop of Marion, Iowa, who passed away on September 14, 2022 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Delbert Watters and Ila Watters (Bentley); her husband William G. Schoop; her daughter Cindy; her sons-in-law, Ron Redington and David Cahalan; and her siblings, Jean Frandsen, Ruth Gifford and Kenneth Watters.
She is survived by: her daughters, Jodi Cahalan of Williamsburg and Chris Meggers (Jim) of Marion; her grandchildren, Alison Graham of Marco Island, Traci Hepker (Dean) of Grimes, Kelly Meggers (Bryan Furman) of Marion, Vicki Pitstick of Marion, Natalie Williams (Chad) of Waverly, Brian Redington (Nicole) of Robins and Wil Meggers (Amy) of Marion; and her sister Verna Moreland of Clinton, Missouri.. She is also survived by 19 great-grandchildren.
Memorials in Mary's memory may be directed to Hospice of Mercy or the Alzheimer's Association.
