He was predeceased by: his parents, LaVerne Green and Helen Green (Berry); and his brother Dave Green. He is survived by: his former wife Sara Ruth Mattek; his daughters, Laura Bay Green (Brian Meier) of Cedar Rapids and Erin Green (Andrew Sparesus) of Chicago, Illinois; his grandson Jacob Mauren; his sister Kathy Hein (Bob) of Dubuque, Iowa; his sister-in-law Sue Green of Marion; his significant other Colleen Dwars of Marion; his partner's child Ryan Dwars (Brooke) of Iowa City, Iowa; his nieces, Heather Green, Sara Kaser and Kari Boots; his nephew Brian Hein; and also, Asher and Everlie Dwars.
