It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mildred Ruth Jessen of Marion, Iowa, born in Dumont, Iowa, who passed away on September 11, 2020, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Lamm and Elizabeth Lamm; her husband James Anton Jessen; her son Howard; and her siblings, Mary Lamm, Lawrence Lamm, Margaret Cook and Theresa Ungs.
She is survived by: her sister Miriam Patton of Fort Wayne, Indiana; and her children, Cheryl McAvoy (Paul) of Columbus, Cynthia Roehr (Brad) of Cedar Rapids, Jeffrey Jessen of Grafton and James Jessen (Carla) of Cedar Rapids. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren.
