It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nancy Lee Geistfeld of Marion, Iowa, born in Oelwein, Iowa, who passed away on February 1, 2021, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Andrew Paul and Bertha Celia McLeish (Hinrichs); her husband Eugene Geistfeld; and her daughter Julie Geistfeld. She is survived by: her children, Ronald Geistfeld (Regina) of Omaha, Larry Geistfeld (Gabby) of Des Moines and Joni Geistfeld (David Christiansen) of Marion, Iowa; her grandchildren, Madelynne Geistfeld (Matthew Boyce) of Ankeny and Tristen Christiansen of Marion, Iowa; and her brother Andrew McLeish (Cheryl) of Morristown, Tennessee. She is also survived by eight nieces and nephews, and 15 great-nieces and nephews.
Due to these difficult times, the family requests no handshakes or hugs and all guests are respectfully requested to wear a face mask and practice social distancing.
