She was predeceased by: her husband Troy C. "Curt" Hames, Jr.; her parents, Cletus James and Berniece DeLean Grannan (Griffith); and her brothers, James Roger Grannan and Richard Max Grannan.
She is survived by: her children, Troy C. Hames, III (Sandi), Barbara Hames-Bryant (Dan Bryant) and Cynthia Hames (Charles Tomes). She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Antioch Church in Marion.
