He is survived by: his wife Jane Palmer of Marion; his sons, Brian Palmer of Mesa and Dean Palmer of North Liberty, Iowa; his grandchildren, Cydney Ferguson (Clint) of Waverly, Tristan Palmer of Mesa and Isabelle Palmer of North Liberty, Iowa; his great grandchildren, Charlotte and Clara Ferguson; and his sister Wava Schmidt of Hiawatha, Iowa. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
