She was predeceased by: her parents, James and Goldie; her daughter Rebecca Sue McCarty; and her brothers, Jake Bemer, Junior Bemer and Rodney Bemer.
She is survived by: her husband John; her daughters, Rusty Ann Keeney (Cory) and Jennifer Hawkins (Travis); her son-in-law Jay McCarty of Hiawatha; her grandchildren, Jayson, Payton, Madison McCarty, Chase Keeney, Cora Keeney, Erika Hawkins and Leo Hawkins; her siblings, Rosie Scott of Cedar Rapids, Shirley Packingham of Cedar Rapids, Cindy Greenhaw of Toddville, Kathy Harris of Cedar Rapids, Jerry Bemer of Cedar Rapids and Richard Bemer of Toddville; and also, Fritz and Deanna Heit of Hiawatha. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Dennis and Donna Oldorf Hospice House of Mercy.
