She was predeceased by: her parents, Jasper Chandler and Erma Rose Chandler (Snyder); her husband Sylvan Junior Colton; and her siblings, Marcia Petcavage, Phyllis Yearous, Ronald Chandler and Michael Chandler.

She is survived by: her children, Rodney Colton (Bonne) of Strafford, MO, Scott Colton (Lisa) of Quasqueton and Cheryl Roberts (Danny) of Cedar Rapids. She is also survived by four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Memorials will be directed to the Hospice of Mercy.
