He was predeceased by: his parents, Dennis Mitchell and Dorothy Mitchell (Blitz). He is survived by: his former spouse Rosalynn "Lynn" Marks; his wife Lynn Mitchell; and his children, Kimberly Moore (Cliff) of Mt. Vernon, Amy Welty (Scott) of Atkins and Matthew Mitchell (Molly) of Urbandale. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; 3 sisters; and 1 brother.
