He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Marjorie F. Taylor (Lala); his children, Wilford H. Stone (Amy L. Reasner), Diane L. Origer (Gordon) and Jeffrey C. Stone (Kim Stone Vilim); his grandchildren, Malissa Jeffrey, Marcus Origer, Anna Stone and Kayla Stone; his stepgranddaughters, Mindy Brechwald (Travis) and Michelle Frideres (Justin); and his great grandchildren, Chris, Harrison Jeffrey, Kacie, Kaiya, Kallie Brechwald, Grady, Jaycie and Gage Frideres.
Due to the pandemic restrictions, a private memorial service for family will be held at First Presbyterian Church, Marion, Iowa.
Memorials may be directed to the First Presbyterian Church in Marion for its "One Great Hour of Sharing," the NCSML, and the Marion Public Library.
