It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert W. Woerdehoff of Marion, Iowa, who passed away on March 23, 2021, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Clifford Woerdehoff and Elizabeth Woerdehoff (Otting); his siblings, Ronald Woerdehoff, Jane Strang (Clifford), Joan Topping and Richard Woerdehoff; his wife Margaret "Peggy" Callahan; his children, Angela (Mannie Gomes), Michele (Jim Barton), John, Brenda (Jeff Kadlec) and Brian (Fiorella); and his grandchildren, Samantha Strauss, Jessica Strauss, William Gomes, Katherine Gomes, Bailey Kadlec, Jacob Kadlec, Luke Woerdehoff, Justin Garcia and Kaylin Woerdehoff.
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, a service for only the family will be held at Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Service in Marion.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Bob's memory may be directed to the Mercy Foundation for Mercy Hospice at 701 10th Street SE, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, 52403.
