He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Hale and Marjorie Hale (McNeil). He is survived by: his son Rory (Tia) of Marion; his siblings, Nancy DeNiro of Tucson, AZ., Georgia Hale of Tucson, AZ., Terry of Iowa City, Tim of Cedar Rapids and Randy of Cedar Rapids; and his granddaughter Katie.
