It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Russell Montgomery of Marion, Iowa, born in Vinton, Iowa, who passed away on August 1, 2021, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Guy Montgomery and Olive Montgomery (Ferguson); and his sisters, Verla Geiger and Betty Butts. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Alber; his children, Rhonda Juehring (Steve) of Marion and Ryan (Schannon) of Springfield; his brother Donald Montgomery (Elaine) of Vinton, Iowa.; his grandchildren, Jennifer (Adam) of Des Moines, Joshua (Kayla) of Center Point, Zachary and Ian of Marengo; and his great grandchildren, Owen and Jack.
No flowers please, memorials may be made to the Dennis & Donna Oldorf Hospice House of Mercy in memory of Russell.
