She was predeceased by: her sister Norma Larsen; her brothers-in-law, Dick "Swede" Larsen and Don Mahoney; her sons, Dave Engle and Doug Engle; and her parents, Norman Johnson and Venetta Johnson.
She is survived by: her husband Wayne; her children, Dan Engle (Janet) of Marion and Sue Engle of Marion; her daughters-in-law, Maureen Engle of Cedar Rapids and Lisa Engle of Marion; her grandchildren, Melissa Barnhill of Cedar Rapids, Luke Engle (Gabriela) of Ft. Myers, FL, Ben Engle (Katie) of Marion, DJ, Kristen McNichol (Ted) of Urbandale, Lindsay Engle of Marion, Mallory Utebay (Hasan) of Des Moines, Sarah Engle of Marion, Jesse Davis of Cedar Rapids, Rachael Sneed (Austin) of Palo and Craig Engle (Elena Davidson) of Denver, CO; her sister-in-law Phyllis Mahoney of Chesterton, OH; and her great grandchildren, Olivia Engle, Brookelyn Barnhill, Stella Barnhill, David Engle, Max McNichol, Marley McNichol, Taylor Engle, Mavi Utebay, Drayson Engle, Steele Engle, Shay Engle and Huxley Sneed. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
She was a member of Antioch Christion Church, Indian Creek Country Club, OOP in Marion, Friends of the Marion Library, and volunteer for Linnhaven, and the American Cancer Society.
