It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thomas Murphy (Marion, Iowa), born in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, who passed away on May 21, 2019, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Hamill Murphy and Vera Murphy. He is survived by: his wife Sharon; his son Robert Murphy (Denise); his siblings, Margo Uhre (Larry), Mike Murphy (Gloria), Tina Nichelberg (Paul) and Shawn Murphy (Marcy); and his grandchildren, Ryan Murphy, Nathan Murphy, Milo Murphy and Madeline Murphy.
Memorial donations may be directed to Linn County Trails Association, the Sierra Club or the Cedar Valley Nature Trail Association.
