He was predeceased by: his parents, Lee Morris and Alma Morris (Plistil); his wife Charlotte Morris; his son Greg Morris; and his brother Darold Morris.
He is survived by: his children, Jon Morris (Peg) of Springville, Vicky Hanus (Duane) of Traer and Nancy Mowry (Brad) of Marion; his grandchildren, Jared Morris (Heather), Lindsay Duggan (Andy), Kelsey Jorgensen (Justin), Wyatt Hanus (Brittany), Troy Hanus, Brinkley Braden, Chaz Braden (Dani), Shelby Schott (Jordan) and Colton Mowry (Heather); his close friend Ann Fleckenstein; his siblings, Gene Morris (Mary) and Diane Morris; and his pet William. He is also survived by eleven great-grandchildren.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, a private funeral service will be held at Murdoch Funeral Home in Marion, and burial at Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, on Wednesday, December 30, 2020.
