She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Edna Groover (O'lear) and Wallace Groover; her husband Donald Edel; her children, Scott Vavroch (Kathy) of Gladbrook, Crystal Bryant (Christopher) of Kettering Ohio and John Curtis Mills of Marshalltown; her grandchildren, Kendra Beierschmitt (Chance), Kayla, Sydney Vavroch, Nicole, Alexis Bryant, Jocelynn, Alexia and Collin Curtis Mills; her sisters, Donna Malloy of Des Moines, Charlene Gohlinghurst (Dave) of Red Oak and Beverly Cortez of Florida; her brother-in-law William Malloy; and her sister Charlene O'lear.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to The Salvation Army.
