He is survived by: his wife Leona Carlson; his children, Lowell Carlson, Cynthia Carlson, Mary Pepper (Greg) and Robb Carlson (Angela); his brother Sam Carlson (Marlene); and his sister-in-law Sally Carlson. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
