She was predeceased by: her parents, Chadwick Ploeg and Irene Ver Ploeg (Elscott); William and Delores Merwald. She is survived by: her husband Ed; her children, Mike Merwald (Lindsay) of Leawood and Missy Grothoff (Dusty) of Ankeny; her grandson Myles Merwald; and her siblings, Doyle Ver Ploeg (Karna), Diane Vos (Steve) and Duane Ver Ploeg (Myrna).
