He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Joseph O'Brien and Dora O'Brien (Granahan); his wife Judith Martin; his children, Julie Stoll (Greg), Jill Severson (Tom), Joe O'Brien (Jackie) and Jennifer DeVries (Kenny); his grandchildren, Emily, Andre, Macaiah Stoll, Brock Severson, Nicole Benson (Brian), Amanda Dougherty (Kirk), Luke Severson, Leigha Jones (Tadd), Jordan O'Brien (Michelle), Kyle O'Brien (Megan), Rachel DeVries and Jacob DeVries; his sisters, Margaret Ann, Mary Jo Ryan and Betty Shird; and his pet Sadie.
