He was predeceased by: his parents, "CD" and Virginia; and his children, Rusty and Kristine. He is survived by: his significant other Jeanne Ewalt; his children, Shellee Parsons-Jordebrek (Brent) and Mikl (Mike) Parsons (Valinda); the mother of his children Eleanor Lott; his stepchildren, Mark Tudeen (Melissa), Tracy Van Wyk (Evan) and Ann Kurth (David); and his sister Sandy. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren and many extended family members and friends.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 30th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Mitchell Family Funeral Home (1209 Iowa Ave W, Marshalltown, IA 50158).
Memorials may be directed to the family for a later designation.
