Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Lyle Richard Niemeyer of Marshalltown, Iowa, who passed away at the age of 89, on February 21, 2022. He is survived by: his uncle Sam; his wife Ruth Ann Bauer of Mendota; and his sons, Mark, Paul and John. He is also survived by six grandchildren.

Up to the start of the pandemic, he served as an AARP tax preparer for low income individuals and volunteered at his church and local food pantry.
