She was predeceased by: her parents, Judy Bloom and Alan Laverty; her stepfather Brian Dodds; her brother Patrick; her sibling's children, Kaylie, McKenna Rose, Connor and Jack Laverty; and her aunts, Jane Wiseman, Deborah Jacobson and May.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed in Margaret's name to the Animal Rescue League, 1921 Taylor Ave., Marshalltown, IA 50158, phone 641-753-9046.
