She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Letha Hulin and Ralph Nicholson; her husband Lawrence Halter (Jiggs); her children, Jim (Sam) and Jerry (Sandy); her sister Karen Crumly; her siblings-in-law, Merrill Halter (Joline) and Alice Nicholson; her son Tom; and her grandson Jared. She was also cherished by 6 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, 4 step great-grandchildren and 2 step great-great grandchildren.
Memorials may be directed to either the Melbourne Public Library or Iowa River Hospice.
