It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ralph J. Bender of Marshalltown, Iowa, who passed away on June 16, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Bender and Ada Bender (Durstein); and his brothers, Robert and Doug Bender. He is survived by: his wife Rhoda Symens; his children, Loren Bender (Mindy) and Cynthia Calhoun; his sister Barbara Coe; his grandchildren, Megan, Parker and Noah; his great grandchildren, Jayden and Mason; and his sister-in-law Delores Bender.
