He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert O. Button and Caroline Lockwood Button of Marshalltown, Iowa.. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Kathleen Button; his children, Kristin (Frank Wright) of Brookneal, Virginia and Geoff Button (Kari Sorenson) of Chicago, Illinois; his grandchildren, Austin, Matthew Wright and Audrey Button; his sister Judy; his brother-in-law Jay Oswood of Marshalltown; his brother Jim; and his sister-in-law Linda Button of Effingham. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
