She is survived by: her parents, Leslie "Les" Rhoades and Linda Hail Rhoades; her husband John "Papa Smurf" Cooper Sr. Together; her children, Casandra Holden (Chris O'Connell) of Waterloo, Courtney Walsingham (Louis) of Missouri, Jared Thomas (Hannah) of Marshalltown, Brandy Cooper of Texas and Johnnie Ray Cooper II of Des Moines; her grandchildren, Curtis, Jade, Autom, Alicia, Bentley, Decklen, Braxton, Leah, Taisha, Cody, Mary, Emilie, Phoenix, Aashlyn, Seth, Dayton, Julie, Shaylee and Caden; her great grandchildren, Daisy Mae and Michael; and her siblings, Mary and Les Rhoades Jr. (Joyce).
