With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Sara Lorraine Redenius of Lake City, Iowa, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Sara Lorraine left this world on July 1, 2025 at the age of 66, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, Gerald "Dusty" Redenius and Shirley Redenius; her sister Angela Redenius; her in-laws, Verlan and Iva Tinkle; and her pet Chewy.
She is survived by: her significant other Gloria Shawler; her daughter Mica Paul (Ryan); her grandson Eb Paul; her brother Gary Redenius (Luanne); her uncle David Ewoldt (Randy Smith); her children, Sarah Perry and Stan Shawler (Ashley); and her grandchildren, Jordan, Kaleb, Alexis, Letitia Perry, Emma, Sydney and Ivy Shawler. She is also survived by two nieces, a nephew, and many adored cousins.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 6th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Lampe & Powers Funeral Home (418 N Hancock St, Lake City, IA 51449). A memorial service will be held on Monday, July 7th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Lake City Union Church (206 W Main St, Lake City, IA 51449).
