She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Miller and Esther Miller (Burgman); her husband Dr. Robert McFarland; and her brother Walter Miller Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Sandra McFarland, Patricia McFarland and Robert McFarland (Barb); her grandchildren, Tabitha, Karissa, Christina, Shoshanna, Ariana, Seth, Raina, Elijah, Cameron (Kenna) and Lindsay; and her great grandchildren, Micaela, Lucas, Cassie, Leah, Bella, Brodi, Ethan, Oliver, Gavin, Aiden, Maxwell, Grayson, Maeven and Delmer.
In lieu of flowers memorials donations can be made in her memory to Iowa Public Radio, NAMI of Johnson County or Eastern Iowa Chapter of the Alzheimer's Foundation.
