He is survived by: his parents, Christopher Hicks and Angel Vaughan; his daughter Ariel Hicks; his siblings, Ashton Hicks, Gavin Hicks, Sydney Custer, Cheyenne Vazquez and Rebba Geslicki; his grandparents, Lisa Coellner, Marty Murphy, Mark Mulinix (Jean), Mark Hicks and Eric Ellis; and his aunts and uncles, Blake Murphy, Crystal Beyers, Jennifer Villebro, Kimberly Albin, Amber Mulinix, Kole Mulinix, Nathan Ellis, Travis Hicks and Danny Hicks. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Tavian's name may be directed to the family for a later designation.
