We are sad to announce that on June 13, 2022, at the age of 99, Thelma I. Worden of Marshalltown, Iowa, born in Grinnell, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her mother Census (Chairman); her grandson Will; her children, John Worden (Beverly) of Green Mountain, Mary Beth Horton (Tom) of Colorado Springs and Martha Sumner (Clair); her grandchildren, Bart Horton (Lorna), Kate Horton, Sarah Horton, Christopher Sumner (Kendell), Michelle Sumner Carver (Jeff), Lindsey Sumner Georges (Kevin) and William Worden; her brother Walter Livezey (Pat); her sisters-in-law, Barbara Ytzen and Beverly Duffy; her husband Bob; and her siblings, Edith, Robert, Leonard, Alice and Gertrude. She was also cherished by four great-grandchildren.
Memorials will be directed by family to Westfield Cemetery, Westfield, Iowa (where her parents are buried along with other family members.).
