He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter Lagios and Sophia Lagios (Kolokethas); his wife Marilyn Adams; his grandson Zaid; his brother Nick Lagios; and his cousin Voula Bennett.
He is survived by: his children, Melina Lagios (Gabe Maas) of Friday Harbor, WA and Peter Lagios of Fort Collins, CO; his brother John Lagios of Mason City; and his sisters-in-law, Marlene Lagios, Gloria Helgeson (Jim) of Kensett, Frances Guertin of Mason City, Delores Marsh of Mason City and Judy Adams of Northwood. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Family suggests memorial contributions to Holy Transfiguration Greek Orthodox Church or to Good Shepherd Health Center.
