He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Jurasek and Francis Jurasek (Martykan); and his son Kyle. He is survived by: his wife Viola "Vi" Smeby; his children, Karen Stewart (Andy) of Blue Ridge, TX and Kevin Jurasek (Kriston) of Johnston, IA; his grandchildren, Konner Jurasek (Lexi Dauner) of Boise, ID and Katelyn Jurasek of Johnston, IA; and his in-laws, Wally, Criss Smeby, Glenn, Janet Smeby and Linda Smeby. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, and many cousins.

The family asks that memorials be made in Jerry's name to the I Want To Be Jan Again Foundation, Trinity 150, or your favorite charity.
