He was predeceased by: his parents, John Boedeker and Edith Boedeker (Heaford). He is survived by: his wife Sherri Mayne; his son Dr. John (Jamie); his grandchildren, Jack and Kate Boedeker of Mason City; his daughter Angela Cyr Wenninger (Todd); his grandchildren, Max Wenninger, Mia and Lyndie Cyr of Oregon, WI.; his sister Amanda Ragan (Jim); and his sisters-in-law, Sharma Parlett (Roger) and Shelley Wolff (Rick). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 18th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Major Erickson Funeral Home (111 N Pennsylvania Ave, Mason City, IA 50401). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 19th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Trinity Lutheran Church (213 N Pennsylvania Ave, Mason City, IA 50401). A burial was held on Friday, September 19th 2025 at the Elmwood-St. Joseph Cemetery (1224 S Washington Ave, Mason City, IA 50401).
