She is survived by: her husband Dennis Barkela; her children, Chad Barkela (Deborah) of Sheffield and Jenny Reicks (Trent) of Ankeny, Iowa; her grandsons, Brady Barkela, Briley Barkela, Blake Barkela, Tyler Reicks and Owen Reicks; her siblings, Annette Lohrbach (Justin), Ron Rust (Diane) and Martin Rust; and her sisters-in-law, Marilyn Grarup (Eldon) of Indianola and Nancy Umsted (Richard) of Denver, Colorado.
