She was predeceased by : her parents, Alva Baker and Annola "Dagget" Baker; her children, William R. Butterfield Jr., Tammy Eagen and Brenda Butterfield; and her grandsons, John and Jacob.

She is survived by : her husband William; her children, Bonnie K Story of Burlington, Kim C. (Michael Pepping) and Monte Butterfield of Mason City; her grandchildren, Ann, Kyle, Joel, Katie and Charlie; and her great grandchildren, Rowan, Sutton, Daisy of Alice, AJ, Cora and Layney.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 30th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Fullerton Funeral Home (123 2nd St SE, Mason City, IA 50401). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 30th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
