With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Lou Wood of Mason City, Iowa, who passed away on February 21, 2025 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Odeon Comstock and Leona Comstock (Eggers); her grandson Dustin Colby; and also, Leo, Mary Wood, Leo Jr., Steve, John and Dean.
She is survived by: her friends, Dorothy Funk and Joyce Allen; her husband Frank Wood; her children, Gary Slocum of Mason City, Misti Thoe (Lance) of Ventura and Jason Joyner (Lori) of Altoona; her stepdaughters, Wendy Wood and Stacey Ward; her friend Dee; and also, Wanda, Dave, Jeanne, Alan, Rose, Tom, Diana, Charlie, Anna Mae, Dale and Paul. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren.
