She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Moellering and Marion Moellering (Trask); her husband H. Everett Russell; and her sisters, Hope Kuecker (Willis), Alberta Churchill (Don) and Judith Cameron.
She is survived by: her children, Robert Russell (Eileen Naughton), Beverly Brandt (David), Lynn Russell and Marilyn Halley (Stuart); her grandchildren, Julie Olson (Jason), Michael Brandt (Christina), Megan Halley (Andriko Telka), Alayna Heether (Thomas) and Ellyn Halley (Jack Sullivan); and her great grandchildren, Charlotte, Jackson, Jameson, Jack and Audrey. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, July 18th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at 715 10th Ave SW, Mt Vernon, IA 52314. A funeral service was held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Mechanicsville Presbyterian Church (408 E 1st St, Mechanicsville, IA 52306).
