He was predeceased by : his parents, Harold Petersen and Margaret Petersen (Olsen); his wife Evelyn Lucile Schneider; his daughter Peggy; his grandson Corey; and his siblings, Dorothy, Fred, Margery, Jaqueline, Ray, June, Joyce and Maxine.
He is survived by : his children, Dennis Petersen (Bev) of Mediapolis, Cecilia Wright of Mediapolis, Sue Remenar (John) of West Olive, Michigan, Patti Peterson of Burlington, Diane Blythe of Cedar Rapids, Kathleen Dziulko (Ken) of Sperry, Amy Hanzelin (Glenn) of Bettendorf and Sydney Weyrick (Fred) of Wapello; and his sisters, Donna Schwob of Wapello and Helen Gustison of Wapello. He is also survived by 24 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren.
