He was predeceased by : his mother Virgie Perry; and his siblings, Janette Cooks and Jose Perry. He is survived by : his father Leon Cooks, Jr. of Chicago; and his siblings, Terry Cooks, Linda Dyson, Patrick Cooks, Jermaine Perry, Lashaun Perry, Rodney Cooks, Yulanda Long, Dionne Cooks and Melanee Cooks. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
